The Hebrew term Mazzel (or Mazzalah) simply means a light in the sky. Mazzaroth is the plural form of that, meaning lots of lights in the sky! Genesis 1:14-16: Then God said, "Let there be lights (Hebrew: Maor or Meorah - a form of mazzel) in the firmament of the starry-heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and for years; and let them be for lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth", and it was so. God made the two great lights, the greater light to govern the day, and the lesser light to govern the night; He made the stars also.

The primary constellation shown rising is Sagittarius. Also of primary focus is the Milky Way. Other constellations present are a portion of Corona Australis, Scorpius, Scutum, Serpens Cauda, and portion of Ophiuchus, Aquila (the Eagle) and Sagitta.
