"Little Toad"

The species in this piece is an American Toad. I've chosen to depict this one as "larger than life". Toads have exquisitely jeweled eyes that justified the magnification. I discovered this particular toad had a penchant for mealworms, and I was happy to oblige it whenever we crossed paths on the patio.
